• Community Support

The Shorefront Y has a full array of programs that empower adult immigrants to improve their English literacy skills, learn basic computer skills and prepare for employment, new careers and United States citizenship. More than 2,000 adults are involved in our programming every year!

Our Family Social Service department helps individuals and families navigate the social service system, assist with crisis intervention and inform clients about the community and government resources that are available to them. Our goal is to build strong families and community by promoting health and safety, preventing crises and easing the transition into American society.
